Brian Bader Retires from Axiom Investors
Axiom is honored to announce that after a highly distinguished, 35+ year career in the financial institutions market, Brian Bader will be retiring from Axiom and the industry in early May. Kurt Polk, Axiom’s President, adds: “Brian and I have worked together since 2007 and I consider him a person of the utmost integrity as well as a thoughtful friend and colleague. I’m excited for both he and [his wife] Iris as they begin their next chapter in life.”
Brian was a Partner and a Senior Vice President of Client Service and Marketing at Axiom Investors for five years, where he focused on the firm’s relationships with Financial Institutions, including sub-advisory. Before joining Axiom, he served as the Principal and Head of Sales at Rainier Investment Management. Prior to that, he held a position as Head of Sub-Advisory and National Accounts at US Trust. Brian previously served in a variety of roles at Deutsche Asset Management, Bankers Trust and Citibank. He earned his B.S. in Economics cum laude from the State University of NY at Albany.
Brian plans on having an active retirement and is looking forward to spending more time at his lake house in the Adirondacks. He also plans to expand his charitable work with The Children’s Village, a not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to serving the needs of underprivileged youth in and around the NYC area. Brian will continue to serve as Chairman of The CV Institute, where he has oversight responsibility for their endowment.
Best wishes to Brian in his retirement!
