Axiom Announces Promotions and New Partners & Principals

Promotions

Axiom is pleased to announce the promotions of Gerard Fenn to Senior Associate of Operations, and Justin Waldman to Senior Associate of Performance & Risk Analytics.

Gerard has been a dedicated member to Axiom’s Operations team since joining Axiom in 2018. Gerard has excelled in collaborating across multiple teams to advance Axiom’s operational capabilities and is recognized by his colleagues for his contributions to our culture of fiduciary excellence. Prior to Axiom, Gerard served as a Business Associate at ARGA Investment Management, and as an Equity Trader at Chimera Securities. Gerard holds a B.S.B.A with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting from University of Colorado at Boulder, Leeds School of Business.

Justin has been a committed member of Axiom’s Performance & Risk Analytics team since joining Axiom in 2017. Justin has been a trusted and impactful collaborator across multiple teams including the firm’s research, client partnerships, marketing, and operations departments and has embraced every opportunity to support the firm. Justin has also focused on his professional development during his time at Axiom and successfully completed the CFA Level 3, the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM), and most recently the CFA ESG Certificate. Prior to Axiom, he held several positions at FactSet. Justin earned his B.S., summa cum laude, in Finance and Marketing from Tulane University.

New Partners & Principals

Axiom celebrates new partners Steve Hanson and Greg Schneider, both Directors of Client Partnerships, and new Principal, Kristen Walsh, Axiom’s Marketing Manager.

Steve has been a valued member of the Client Partnerships team since joining Axiom in 2015. He is currently responsible for leading our financial institutions group, partnership with our global client base, and ongoing business development and strategy. Prior to Axiom, Steve was Vice President of Institutional Consultant Relations at American Century and prior to that, he was Director of Public Fund Services at Lord Abbett & Company. Steve earned his B.S.B.A. in Economics from the University of Central Florida and his M.B.A. from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at the College of William & Mary.

Greg has been a contributing member of the Client Partnerships team since joining Axiom in 2021. In Greg’s role as Director of Client Partnerships, he is responsible for building long-term, collaborative partnerships with the global consultant community and Axiom’s global client base, as well as fostering new business development and strategy. Greg also co-leads the firm’s Culture Committee, with a particular focus on building connectivity through social events. Greg joined Axiom from GQG Partners where he was a Partner and Managing Director of Consultant Relations. In addition to his time at GQG, Greg worked at Aberdeen Asset Management in consultant relations. Greg earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from the University of Michigan, Stephen M. Ross School of Business.

Since joining Axiom in 2012, Kristen’s career progression at the firm can be evidenced by the various roles she’s held at the firm along with her continued increase in responsibilities. For the past four years, Kristen has been leading and managing the Marketing team with a focus on key marketing related business development initiatives such as Axiom’s new website and the creation of customized investor materials. Not only has Kristen made a significant impact in her role, but she also co-leads the firm’s Culture Committee, with a particular focus on helping drive our community outreach efforts. Kristen holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and an M.A in Teaching from Sacred Heart University, where she graduated summa cum laude.
