First Quarter 2018 Russell Investments and Investors Choice Awards

Russell Investments selects Axiom Investors for Emerging Markets Fund
In the first quarter of 2018, Russell Investments announced that the Axiom Emerging Markets World Equity Strategy was selected as a new manager for the firm’s multi-managed Emerging Markets Fund. With a 20% target allocation, Axiom Investors represents the largest target allocation in the Fund. The Strategy’s Lead Portfolio Manager is Andrew Jacobson, CFA, Axiom’s Chief Investment Officer, with Christopher Lively, CFA, Donald Elefson, CFA, José Gerardo Morales, CFA, and Bradley Amoils serving as Co-Portfolio Managers, and uses Axiom Investors’ firm-wide Dynamic Growth approach.

Axiom Investors recognized with two Investors Choice Awards
Axiom Investors is pleased to announce that the Axiom Emerging Markets World Equity Strategy and the Axiom Global Equity Strategy have won 2018 Investors Choice Awards for achieving outstanding risk adjusted returns in the Emerging Markets Equity and Global Long Only Equity Fund categories, respectively.

The annual Investors Choice Awards, sponsored by Allocator, honor investment managers across the globe that have achieved exceptional risk-adjusted absolute returns. All funds on the Allocator platform are independently judged by a mix of managers, consultants, financial institutions, and trustees. Judging factors include a number of qualitative and quantitative criteria involving the investment process, risk management, and investment team structure. Performance statistics including annualized returns, volatility, and maximum drawdown are also evaluated. Six of the firm’s strategies were nominated in five different categories. The Axiom Global Equity Strategy was recognized in the Global Long Only Equity Fund category and the Axiom Emerging Markets World Equity was recognized in the Emerging Markets Equity category.
